The Maine Page was the very first problem page to appear on this site (it actually existed even before this site existed; it originally lived at Virtu Software's website. It's purpose was to give students involved in the Maine Association of Math Leagues competitions some practice problems.  It was originally maintained by Doug (that's me - the site administrator!) until development of other aspects of the site made it too difficult for him to maintain.  At that point he roped Sasha (a former math team champion from Maine) into developing new problems.  Sasha worked faithfully at this project for quite some time, and most of the problems you see on these pages are his.  Enjoy!
