Douglas has a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Maine. He has been an award winning mathematics competitor both in high school and in college, and currently
is a math competition problem writer and proofreader for various mathematics competitions.Douglas is also the designer of the "Sketch & Chat" application, which is used for online math tutoring on this site. During the summer months Douglas spends most of his time as a camp pastor at various camps around the state of Maine.
