Though there weren't many solutions posted, the people who tried this one seemed to enjoy puzzling over it, so I think I'll try doing a few more like this in the coming months. If you have an idea for this sort of puzzle, feel free to send me an email, or add it to your next solution you post. The answer is ENVELOPE.

SHOVE = PUSH (push the envelope)
STOMP = STAMP (which you put on an envelope)
BEAT = LICK (which you do to seal the envelope)
GORGE = STUFF (to fill envelopes)
