No one came up with my solution this week, but a few people came up with some ideas that only required a little bit of a stretch, so I gave several people partial credit.
I am a CHECK.
A BLANK CHECK is a signed check with no amount filled in.
A RAIN CHECK is a ticket-stub/promise for an event which has been rained out.
And CHECKING is commonly seen in hockey games.
