Last Candle Game

The object of this game is very simple: You want to force your opponent to light the last candle.

The computer will select a number of candles, and a number of candles you are allowed to light per turn. On each turn you must light at least one candle. You light a candle by clicking on it. When you are done selecting candles, click "I'm done" to let the computer have its turn.

The game ends when there is only one candle left to be lit.

Winning Strategy

The computer knows a strategy to win, and it will always use this strategy. However, the computer always allows you to go first, so if you know the strategy, you can thwart the computer.
