Achieving student success is the goal of districts, administrators, teachers, students and parents. Realizing the differences that lie within each student yet meeting the needs of all can often appear to be a challenge. To eliminate or decrease the lack of student achievement, I believe that providing various options that can be utilized to motivate student achievement can ultimately help students achieve success. Listed below are ten ways to motivate student achievement:
- Work in a collaborative effort with the school district, administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents and the community
- Utilize Creativity
- Be Flexible
- Provide a forum for students to express issues of concern
- Set obtainable goals for students
- Create opportunities for student-directed teaching
- Providing hands on experiences
- Cooperative Grouping
