Fatigue, Scarf, Grasp, Snout Solution
FATIGUE, when used as a verb, is synonymous with the verb TIRE.
A SCARF is a MUFFLER.
To GRASP something is to CLUTCH it.
A SNOUT is a TRUNK.
What has TIRES, a MUFFLER, a CLUTCH, and a TRUNK? A CAR, of course!
Alternates: I also accepted FATIGUE = EXHAUST and SNOUT = NOSE.
Some of our British visitors pointed out that for them it's TYRE and BOOT, rather than TIRE and TRUNK, so the riddle doesn't work quite as well for them.
But I noticed they still solved it... :)
