Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
The following is a piece of writing submitted by MissAnnie on December 22, 2010
"I wrote this because my brothers want me to make them some cookies. Now maybe I should find my REAL recipe!"
Cookies
CookiesFirst the butter
Then the sugar
A bit of vanilla.
Beat it all well,
Add the eggs
And beat it some more.
Mix in flour and
Baking powder.
Stir in the
Chocolate chips.
Scoop them out,
And bake them.
Oh-no!
Footsteps!
Quick!
Hide the cookies,
Before my brothers come in!
