Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
The following is a piece of writing submitted by Aimster du Clarkentine on March 12, 2008
"I wonder what would happen if we thought of crazy people as captives, and then imagined ourselves stuck in their world with a warped reality we couldn't get out of."
Plea of Insanity
My mind has left me.Don't desert me too.
Reality's fled.
But I beg of you
Please stay here with me
In a world of lies
please still remain true.
I can't locate up
So don't let me down.
Be here; make me smile
When this bitter cup
Causes me to frown.
Though in confusion
I aim hurftul words
full of suspicion
and shoot them at you
Please, please, still be true.
While my mind torments
not just its owner
Please decide to do
The illogical
Stay. Love anyway.
I'm off my rocker,
but I know for sure
Loneliness would be
What I can't endure.
