The commute
The commuter was on his way to work.He worked at a warehouse,smackdab in the middle of town.His work comprised of charging a neutral alloy electronically to form another compound.As he travelled to work along the river in his rowboat,he contemplated his life and his atheist beliefs. He thought about his family tree and the fact that there were many religious forbears in his family.He was distracted from these thoughts as he passed the sewage works with the most nauseating smell and was relieved he was nearly at his destination.More writing by this author
