endings
As I was driving along in my carsinging aloud to my rhythm and blues.
wondering so sadly where you now are,
putting myself in your navy suede shoes.
In rearview mirrors reflection I saw
so unexpectedly,blearily you,
debonair always, my feelings were raw
inflexibility striking anew
The last time we met in town was so bad
At a stroke becoming snobbish and loud
an unsavoury brawl which made me mad
our relationship gone like a spring cloud
