Small Town vs. Big City

I lived on a farm when I was a child
freedom to roam about the countryside
dogs, cats and cows, flowers and all things wild
climbing trees,building dens,time spent outside

when I left school,the city was my home
new friends,excitement at the sights to see
theatre, shops,the streets I loved to roam
the buzz,the crowds was where I longed to be

now older ,children grown away from home
they now enjoy the thrill of city life
while I ,a small town lover have become
access to city near ,without the strife.
