a great raconteur who can spin a good line
humour abounds with his very dry wit
his chocolate roulade is a very big hit

toymaking, scrabble, a baker of cakes
sugarcraft flowers superbly she makes
family and friends love her warmth, charm and fun
Joyce always makes time to contact each one

Joyce lays the table for breakfast next morn
Harry greets toys with "Good Morning" each dawn
Joyce for the shopping writes Harry a list
He sometimes goes twice for items he's missed

Holidays camping when children were small
big family trips were no trouble at all
hippos that travelled to lands far and near
tame birds in their garden will often appear

Sit in the garden with glass, one or two
or a pub in the fens with river view
To Harry and Joyce , a toast to your day
and to more love and laughter coming your way
