Falling from the Sky

Rain should fall in places where there is drought
so hungry children do not go without
so planted crops don't wither and can grow
with green shoots spreading out along each row
after the rainfall warming sun to bring
a spark of life to every living thing
then rain again so shoots will grow up strong
and children's lives are healthier and long
