I thought sirens would never stop blaring
three in the morning, I was past caring
whatever the cause I needed to sleep
feeling so tired, I wanted to weep
my last exam would be starting at ten
thinking, I'll need to resit them again
all of that effort lost due to blaring
of sirens at night, my sleep impairing
