Rhyming Rhyme

To try to write a poem with one rhyme
a challenge I subscribe to all the time
for rhyming has a beauty like a mime
which separates the jewels from the grime
the hint of sweetness in sour fruit like lime
low branches or the top of tree to climb
to slide in mud or fall face down in slime
so not to try this would be just a crime
to write in rhyme, a feeling so sublime
