notice the lonely and reach for your phone
knowing each contact can brighten the day
sharing and giving are always the way
grant us compassion for those who feel sad
imbue us with wisdom when we feel bad
vexation and troubles vanish away
inside us all build a love that will stay
needing connection and opening doors
goodness and mercy may always be yours
