Be mine,be mine sweet Valentine
my love for you is true
so every year upon this day
I'll give a gift to you

His word was true and on this day
he pledged his love anew
until they both were old and grey
thus this tradition grew

Now men and girls from far and wide
send cards and flowers too
to say be mine sweet valentine
or simply " I love you"
