"i haven't written anything in years, hope i can remember how. stumbled on this site, and i've been wanting to get back in the writing groove, so i thought i'd give this a shot."
Inanimate Perspective
Talk about not fair. There I was, minding my own business when, all of a sudden, out of a clear blue sky, wham! I get knocked clean out of the park. Talk about a headache. I was gonna be feeling that home run for a good long while. I finally rolled to a stop, took a long deep breath and thought, phew! Glad that's over, when next thing I know, some long haired mangy mutt with a mouth full of slobber picks me up and takes off with me! Bad enough I've got a headache that just won't quit, now I've got teeth marks a mile deep and slobber all over me. Can this day get any worse? I had to say it, I just had to say it. Wouldn't you know it, one of the kids from the game managed to catch up with the mutt and take me back. Yep, back to the game. I tell ya, life as a baseball just isn't all it's cracked up to be.More writing by this author
