Waiting in reality
I wanted a Fantasy life, I pretended I did,I pretended a fairytale was the life that I lived,
But I lived reality, Then I met you,
I got my fantasy, but I regret it, I do!
You've been wonderful, but I miss the old one,
the old person I knew, to them I always clung,
I lived in reality but then you took a turn,
it's a no happy ending fairytale, what a lesson to learn,
I want to wake from this dream, I miss you in reality,
I love your laugh and smile, every corner of your personality,
Now I see the truth, now that my life has rained with hail,
that reality alone is much better then a fairytale,
I hope you come back, you'e spaced out in the galaxy,
So I'm waiting for you, right here, in reality
