"April indeed seems cruel. It constantly makes us think it's spring, only to lure us outside and then shower us with rain or make us freeze in an icy wind."

It makes us long for summer
when it seems winter still
Between snow and showers
days of freezing cold
come blue and golden flowers
to tell us spring gets hold

Each day full of surprises
from summer warmth to winter chill
