The following is a piece of writing submitted by du courage on September 14, 2014
"The energy of several phases in our life compared to the life of a river. "
Energy of life
Young energyis like a mountain stream
jumping and tumbling
to the valley below
taking along
everything
that comes in it's path
Mature energy
is like a river's
steady flow
leaving behind
what was taken before
allowing the cattle to drink
Old energy
had gone underground
the riverbed empty
some pockets of water
but merely dry
vegetation shows
the water's still there
Dead energy
the water gone
no traces left
but having
flowed down to the sea
or flown up in the air
it's still part of life
