Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
The following is a piece of writing submitted by du courage on October 5, 2014
"Fall is the wind letting leafs dance in the air, and the constant poc poc of falling chestnuts and acorns. After today's walk a second version popped up in my mind. I wonder which one you like best."
Arrival of Fall
First version of my fall poem:The day is gray
the sun on strike
The wind tosses leafs
and birds alike
Chestnuts are falling
mind your head
but with an umbrella
fall isn't so bad
Second version of my fall poem:
The sound of leafs
turns to brittle and dry
in gusts of wind
like birds they fly
A knock on the window
Who's making that sound?
An acorn or chestnut
on it's way to the ground
