Superbowl 2013
I'm not much of a football fan myself. I watched parts of the game and a little bit of the halftime show. When the lights went out, I changed the channel and began to watch something else. It wasn't until a few days after the game when I discovered an emotional connection to the game. A few years ago, I was inspired when I viewed the film "Blindside." After hearing that Michael Oher, the boy from the slums who was taken in by a wealthy family, was on the team that won the Superbowl. Michael would not be where he is today if one family had not been willing to take a risk. That is about all I have to say about the Superbowl.
