The Long Road

Please take me sailing away.
I'll go anywhere with you.
My life began when we met,
when we said "I do".
It took us to our mid-years to find
happiness I only dared dream in my mind.
So, let's take the years left before us.
They'll be wonderful, you'll see.
We took the long road to get here,
but the best is yet to be.
