Floating on a calm, calm sea
I close my eyes and thunder cries. The trees creak. The leaves blow in the wind. I am breathless. Adrenaline pumps through every bone in my body. I shake, I cower, I lie still. But I can not lie still, I need to move. I need to walk. But there is just me. I can not leave. I can not bring myself to move away from where I am. Thunder cries. Lightning flashes. Trees light up. Branches break. People scream. And then I am floating. I am floating on a calm, calm sea.More writing by this author
