I gambled away time and health; and for what?
I didn't go anywhere. I didn't meet new people. I didn't gain new experiences.

I sat on ass my and watched others enjoy their lives while I withered away.

I hoped for a day that peace would come, but it never came.
I waited in vain.

Now I no longer wait to make things happen. I take risks but I do not gamble with my health or time waiting for things to go "my way." I learned that waiting for life to happen is not living. Waiting is a slow, excruciating existence.

I'm glad I learned my lesson.
