Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Azaleen Schmetterling on June 24, 2008
"Just a quick little piece to get back in the swing of things and start my collection here on the site."
Eclipsed
I bled my dreams, and aspirationsbefore your solemn stare; open and
wounded by your bitter tongue
and watched your eyes fall coolly
over what I had done
You shook your head slowly
and smiled half undone, and
when the music drifted from
down the hall - it was all you
could do but run and fall below
the throne of the daughter
who would always be
number one.
