"this one's tiny, maybe I'll pick up on it later"
it's ok to fall
" it's ok to fall" she saysThere wasn't a response, just a piercing stiffness that surrounded the room. Four corners that hold only four years of memory. Everything else has been forgotten, they say, slipped under the covers. It is my fear, for ten years now, that it had been erased more than it was forgotten. Would you forget the first time you flew a kite that happily flew off with the wind and you almost wanted to cry? No, you wouldn't forget that Sunday you drove 20 straight hours because the longing and the waiting was too painful.
Memories, they aren't forgotten, they remain possibly longer than your hopeful days.
