"This was something I put together for the writing prompt... feel free to critique"
This Moment in Time
She walks with style, and grace, she moves in rhymeI check my watch, then gaze in toward her eyes
This moment, what I feel; it's lost in time
It's like my heart is floating through the skies
Now, while I'm waiting, pondering the past
Some memories have perspective at last
I wonder, does she know, a life was saved,
From isolation wrought with suffering
The pain of loneliness, my mind enslaved
Her gift of love is quite liberating!
She snaps her fingers, thoughts in mind subside
The night awaits, she says, it's cut and dried
