It's Pi Day!

1 is not the loneliest number.

It is often the quietest.
Most peaceful.

Especially when most days you are part of 32, 31 of whom are under the age of 10.

And most evenings you are part of 4, 2 of whom are under the age of 5 and very noisy.

And even in the deepest hours of the night, you are part of 2.
Which is quite nice, actually.

Except when the 2 are not getting along,
Then 2 feels lonely.
And 1 is again the quietest.
Most peaceful.

Of course, it's very exciting to be part of 40,000 enjoying a concert
Or part of 106,000,000 watching the Super Bowl on TV.

It is worthwhile to be a part of 299,398,484 who voted.
Or simply to be a part of 6,692,030,277 who live on earth.

That is the wisdom you gain when you join the 38,690,169 over 65.

But when you must leave this earth,
You will be 1 again.

But 1 does not have to be the loneliest number.
1 can be the quietest.
And most peaceful.
