Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Zenna on September 14, 2009
"I'll probably rewrite it a few months hence."
I'll Take the Snow
I'll take the snowthough I'll ache
if I stay too long
and my eyes will tear.
Stripped away
are the leafing dreams
and the bones
of my plantings show through
spare in winter's light.
60 years of puning,
a dark line purposed in the white and pure.
A distant
dream of spring
lost under the snow
is too far to travel.
The bones will testify
to my memory.
