Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Kenzie Fell Down on February 18, 2008
"I am not actually sitting here looking into a fly's eyes as I type this, but whatever."
Yes, jewelious is a made-up word.
Have you ever seen such jewelious eyesAs the glorious, faceted red orbs of the flies?
They glisten and glitter,
They glint and they shine.
The flies are rather dull
But for their eyes so fine.
A source of great boasting
And pride in bugkind,
Those gemlike percievers
For those plain little minds.
