Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

"This is the first time I've ever written poetry in this format. I must admit, I didn't quite know what I was doing. But I hope everyone enjoys it!"
A New Winter
i smileas my nose
grows numb
and starts
to run profusely
i'm still
having fun
my frigid lips
release
an icy breath
of steam
that rises
and evaporates
into
nothingness
i hear
the quiet swishing
of sleighs
rushing sliding
down the hill
i stoop
to gather more
but i am
hit
with a
tight ball
of snow
i giggle
as i throw
one in return
our laughter
greets
a new winter
