Sorry Wrong Number
He violently tore the small paperfrom the lame security of the thumbtack.
Glancing quickly at the penciled notation
he scrunched and tossed it goodbye, and good riddance.
The manly thing to do would be to forgive.
He boiled at the thought.
His gaze, as he turned, rested for an instant
on the face of his twin souled device.
The thermostat likewise
displayed a rising temperature.
