Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
The Harvest
A flawed creation, with many a stain;I am riddled with mishaps, it is true;
Yet even in winter, beauty does reign;
And spring does bring way to which is you.
I see your soul, so troubled and confused;
My heart cries out, a whisper in the wind;
I wait, for in love patience is infused;
I have faith your doubt will one day be thinned.
But alas today, you battle the truth;
Our love is enough, no matter the cost;
To reap you must sow, let us reap in youth!
Let not the harvest of love be now lost.
Nobody said you would reap with an ease;
Love is not hard, and it does not bring pain;
But the path to love, not always a breeze;
Stay strong my love, for but love you shall gain.
