"I have some tattoos, too, but I never fail to be amazed at what people get tattoos of"
Mysterious Tattoos
Mysterious TattoosMark Hudson
About two or three weeks ago, I was waiting for a train.
I sat on a bench next to a good-looking blonde.
On her back, she had a tattoo of a typewriter.
I wanted to inquire about this, but she isolated with headphones.
Was she a writer? Had she ever written a book?
Was it a typewriter that was part of her family?
But she listened to her headphones, ignoring me.
I didn't want to interrupt her important music.
But still I was curious, are you a writer? It would have
Sounded like a pick-up line. But I just wanted to talk writing with her.
Tonight, I saw a man jogging with his dog. He had his shirt off.
He had tattos on his back of skeletal hands, one black, one white.
What was the meaning of this? Was he racing against the Grim Reaper?
Was he trying to make his dog and him immortal by jogging?
Did the skeletal hands represent the Grateful Dead...the band?
Was it meant to be the opposite of hands praying?
Another strange one that comes to mind is a girl who
Worked at an art store. She had a tattoo of a hot dog!
Do you really love hot dogs that much you want one on your arm?
Brings a whole new meaning to the term, starving artist...
