"Winter without snow"
Frost
Dry WinterI'm supposed to be entering a prose contest,
where the topic to be didcussed is frost.
I doubt that mine may be the best,
but the sight of snow is quite lost.
Because of this, I'm quite obsessed,
afraid my entry may be tossed.
It would be nice if I could go out West,
if I could afford the cost.
Snow could be like a treasure chest,
but it's covered up with some moss.
Winter is a time to get some rest,
As old man winter is boss.
Frost may not be anywhere seen,
but old man winter seems rather mean!
