Shamrock shakes
Shamrock shakesI went to a st. patty's day party saturday
where the host was serving up shamrock shakes
I don't drink liquor, but I went anyway
I could have fun, for goodness sakes.
Most people had baileys in their shake that day,
If I did, it would bring back the snakes.
The "Christians" there weren't there to pray
But drinking won't throw you in the "lake"
The host played live Irish music I'd say,
It was hauntingly beautiful, like the cake
The host might be moving and going away
To New York, a brand new state.
When I awoke, it was bright and early,
and not hungover, I wasn't so surly!
