Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
Dear Girl on the Bus/With the Argyle Socks;
Dear Girl on the BusWith the Argyle Socks;
I'll never know you
and you never saw me;
Fingers and eyes drawn to the flicker of your screen
Coronated with a wreath
of sunlight-on-hair,
Gold bent through glass, painted on air
Your posture carries
regal barring not forgotten;
(despite your diamonds being only cotton)
Your beauty lingers beyond your stop.
