Perennial
I do not want the annual touchOf wild flowers in colors fair,
Which die in throes of vanity
To shoot their pollen through the air.
But rather, when you take my hand,
Hold tight to those perennial dreams;
Think carefully before you grasp -
But once you do, do not recede.
