"This is from a poetry exercise which asked us to choose a word with more than one meaning, and incorporate some of those definitions into a poem. This is short, but I thought it was fitting for Good Friday/Easter."

Running counter to, opposingIn a state of anger and irritation
From one side to the other stepping,
Two intersecting beams, upholding
Canceling with a red line running through.
