Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

King Arthur
Beyond the pasture lands where cattle graze,Well past the place where peasants live and die,
Upon a hillside lit by morning rays,
The splendid palace towers touch the sky.
And oft we we wish that we could rule the land,
With wondrous power, strength and glorious might,
But kings are weighted down by each demand,
So envy not this ruler's heavy plight.
With feigned serenity and quiet sigh,
The king sits pond'ring on his royal throne,
And wishes now that he had never lied;
'Twas cousin Wilbur pulled the sword from stone.
