Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
A Curse in Disguise
Rendered to pride.
To a seething,
To a breathing,
Stupefying
Life with a lie
Fame beckons here,
Fame beckons there,
And everywhere
A conscience screams:
An utter plea
For victory.
Fame is engulfed;
Celebrity
Is clearly in
Vicinity
With temptations.
And contemplations
Are then ignored
Money always
Calls for more fame
Then slowly shame
Is numbed by pain
Of life in strain
