Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
Dreams Defined
The unseen is what is hiddenBy one's very own thoughts.
The seen is what is forbidden.
The fire glows with embers so bright
And the heat lingers with such light.
Yet the fire beholds the warping flame;
The changing smoke beholds the same;
Or maybe what is unseen is told,
As the mind whispers and flames then unfold.
Yes, the smoke wisps and twirls and it changes,
And images not really seen are now mental exchanges.
For what is unseen is hidden,
By one single tiny thought.
The mind blocks. the mind opens.
As fancy and fact, then fought.
