Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
I
I walk down the hallsMy peers rush past me
My dignity falls
Pressure has it's fee
Studious faces
Concentrate on me
Quicken their paces
Pressure makes them flee
I walk down the halls
I walk in a group
Huddled suspicion
To them I'm a snoop
Useless addition
For I had refused
Peer pressure's tight grip
Them I had confused
I refused the sip
I walk in a group
They all stare at me
Rumors that I'm free
From the chains Drugs
Sex, Booze, or the Thugs
That stole dignity
That stole it from me
Them I have aware
And so they all stare
They all stare at me
