The Dark Desire

As a moth is drawn to a flame,
So we are drawn to sin.
The moth is conscious of its foolish desire
Yet it attempts the folly.
We are aware of what defines sin
Yet we are drawn to its false luxuries.
We know its danger
Yet we are drawn to its false luxuries.
We know its danger
Yet we are still drawn to its flame.
Killing our innocence
Burn after Burn
We are like a moth drawn to a flame.
