Prickly cacti bloom
As the sun beats down on the land,
And a cool breeze blows.

Beautiful roses
Are planted in pretty parks:
(Good smells in the breeze).

Desert squirrels flee
As boots crunch the rocky trails,
And birds sing with glee.

Oh, the Golden State!
So versatile in it's lands!
California.
