Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
The following is a piece of writing submitted by Sylvan Sylph on March 3, 2009
"Something I wrote years back while staring out my window watching the snow come down. "
Snowfall
Soon it will be snowing;The sky, it told me so.
The wind is gently blowing;
It's cold outside, I know.
Waiting for flakes to fall,
Gazing through frosted pane,
I hear the winter's call.
I stay in, just the same,
Until the snow comes down,
Gently floating through the air,
Landing thickly on the ground;
The world is white and fair.
Before it has a chance to cease,
I will go out knowing;
The world and I are at peace,
While outside it is snowing.
