Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
Falling
Outside the snow is falling. It glistens through the cracks of sunlight and gently falls to the ground.
I am falling, too.
I am falling head first into a black hole of uncertainty.
I'm getting to the point where its too late to crawl back to the slim sliver of light.
Uncertainty is the worst possible feeling on this planet.
How do I know you aren't lying?
More so, why are you lying?
I know you still talk to her.
I know she was two years of your life.
I get it.
But why lie?
I have become cold.
I am rigid.
I am sad.
Outside the snow is falling.
I am falling, too.
